Aamir, Kareena, Rani attended acting workshops

Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji have started attending workshops for their next outing together Reema Kagti's film.

The project is yet untitled but the working title is The Act of Murder.

Though all those associated with the movie have been made to sign a non-disclosure pact, we've sourced out that the stars along with the supporting cast attended a recent script-reading session at a hotel in Bandra.

Says a source, "Reema's conducting the workshops. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani attends some of the workshops. Aamir, who essays a cop in the movie, attended a session before leaving for the Berlin film festival and is expected to continue once he returns."

Adds the source, "The complete cast gathers and reads out their dialogues. This is being done to facilitate the actual shoot so that everyone knows what is to be done and perfection is achieved."

Even though the three leading stars are present, things are conducted in an extremely professional way without any starry tantrums as each one waits for his/her turn to read their lines. A look test has also been done with the cast. "The stars have been describing the atmosphere on the sets to be fantastic and they can't wait for the shoot to begin. Things have been planned to the minutest details. Everyone has been told not to reveal the storyline," informs the source. Reema's film is slated to go on the floors in the second week of March.

Shoot schedules have been planned in Mumbai and later Pondicherry. The itinerary has already been chalked till April and the dates of the stars have been blocked. The film is being produced by Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, under whose banner Reema made her directorial debut with Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.

When Vidya touched Rajinikanth's feet

Recently while Vidya Balan was in Delhi for an award function, superstar Rajnikanth happened to shower her with praises. After touching his feet with respect, Vidya was delighted to hear that Rajinikanth had watched her recent film No One Killed Jessica and had loved her performance in it. Vidya also sought his blessings. This isn't the first time that Vidya has received great feedback from a superstar. Not too long ago Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan had also raved about her on screen performances.

SRK, Salman at Imran-Avantika's wedding bash

From Shah Rukh to Salman and from the Birlas to the Ambanis, Aamir Khan managed to bring together the who's who of Hi-Fi (Hindi Film Industry), business and politics at the wedding bash of his nephew Imran Khan in Mumbai.

If Mr and Mrs Imran Khan were feeling short of any wedding wishes coming their way, they have little to complain about after Saturday night. Uncle Aamir Khan made sure the whole of Hi-Fi (Hindi Film Industry) turned up for what can only be called as the biggest Hi-Fi (Hindi Film Industry) wedding bash in Mumbai.

And, of course, it was a night where Hi-Fi's three biggest khans - Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir - came under one roof.

Be it Hi-Fi (Hindi Film Industry) actors to politicians, anyone who was everyone was present to bless the blushing couple. Yesteryears' superstars Dilip Kumar and Shammi Kapoor came despite their ill health and, of course, joining them were Aamir's contemporaries Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Hrithik Roshan.

And how can the both mama and bhanja's leading ladies - Rani Mukerji, Juhi Chawla, Deepika Padukone to name a few, be left out. If Aamir calls, there're few who can resist.

Aamir Khan did indeed make this a night to remember and one that his nephew and most of these stars would remember for good.

AAMIR IS THE VILLAIN IN DHOOM:3

It's official! BT has learnt from the horses mouth that Aamir Khan will be the villain in Dhoom:3. Spearheaded by Aditya Chopra, the movie will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor). Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their much loved roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. The film will begin shooting end of this year and is slated for a 2012 Christmas release.

When contacted, Aamir said, “It is indeed a pleasure to be working with Yashji and Adi again. Dhoom is a great franchise, most entertaining and full of fun. Everytime I hear the theme tune of Dhoom it brings a swing to my step. Victor’s script really won me over and I look forward to working with him.”
Speaking about Dhoom:3, Yash Chopra adds, “It’s a great pleasure to have Aamir working with our banner. I am terribly excited with what an actor like Aamir can bring to the Dhoom franchise with his unique star power and level of performance. Adi and Victor have worked over a year to bring out, what I can now confidently say, is possibly one of the best scripts coming out of our production house.”
